American Airlines App for Android Wearable

The American Airlines app for the Android wearable devices has undergone two major designs since its inception. In the beginning, the design and experience was dictated by people who are not designers. Due, in part, to that the initial app failed to fall inline with Android requested experience and interface design. There was basically no experience. It merely gave the status if the users/travelers most imminent flight.

When we began to redesign the Android phone app to utilize the new Material Design UI we also redesigned the wearable app. This time I had all the information I needed such as patterns, UI guidelines, and experience documentation so that I could design an app that aligned itself with Android UI and provide a more unique experience.
